Delaine Fedson and Eileen Meyer Russell present a collaborative recital for harp and low brass featuring two original
works for trombone and harp by Braxton Blake and Norman Bolter, an original work for euphonium and harp by
Skaila Kanga, and transcriptions of pieces by Galliard and Schubert.  Also on the program are two works for solo
harp: Deborah Henson-Conant's Baroque Flamenco and a solo harp arrangement of Variations on Guardame las
Vacas; and a work for solo trombone, Anthony Plog's "Postcards".  For the Southwestern concert only, the "Grand
Finale" features the Southwestern University Low Brass and Harp Ensembles in a performance of Norlan Bewley's
"Cinnamon Downs".
